An oasis of palm fronds and white sands, laidback Kikambala is a quite backwater area of the Indian Ocean north of Mombasa that is relatively undeveloped. 

Snorkeling and lounging on the beach and leisurely dinners are the main focus of days.  Encounter brightly colored fish on the reef or take a taxi to Bamburi's shops or visit Vipingo Sisal Estate. At the end of a long day's lounging, try a local disco.

In-between Mombasa and Kilifi, Kikambala is considered somewhat isolated from the main activities of Mombasa. There are all inclusive and time share hotels for the cost conscious.
